Group: Progression from AS and Cohesivness Though the Three Products
Progression of the pitch, from AS:
-There will have to be a much wider array of camera shots discussed in the pitch than there had been previously.
-The editing techniques we plan to use are more complicated than they were at AS and therefore have to be discussed at greater length to avoid confusion.
-Mise-en-scene signifiers have to be considered more readily, as the video has to mean something, not just do something.
-`Discussion has to be more thorough about costumes as they have to be more representative than they were at AS because the character has to build a background in a short time.
-The story board will be shown in this pitch, as we have got it ready in time.
-There will be a print work discussion which was not present in the previous pitch
Cohesive Band Image:
- Colour scheme of the band will be the same on the magazine advertisement, on the Digi-Pack and in the video. in this instance we will be using colours such as Green, Red/Orange and Blue, as these contrasting colours will be representative of the funk genre.
-Whilst the colour scheme for the actual album is black and white. we are 're-branding' the artist and therefore the opposite of that is what we think is most appropriate. so we are using bright colours.
-As the music video is a narrative story, we want all aspects of the pack to tell a story, so all the images used need to tell a story about the artist, and his meta-narrative.
