Mark Ronson ft. Jeff Bhasker - In Case of Fire
- Narrative featuring girl who has no direction in life and causes trouble wherever she goes.
- Features shots of girl walking down street in urban setting.
- Shots of girl arguing with parents and shouting at each other. Features slow motion shots in these scenes.
- Taking a more illustrative view to the lyrics. Use of fire/bonfires with her burning her things on it. (Possibly school books)
- Parallel lines of action between young girl and young boy who experience similar problems to each other eg. school, parents etc.
- We see shots of them both walking down the street, then at the end they walk past each other, not even exchanging a single look.
The Internet ft. Janelle Monae
- Lots of slow motion shots, (possibly 100% slow-mo shots) to suit the song style.
- Slow song so the cutting rate can suitably reflect that tempo.
- Touches on the topic of relationships so the narrative will have to reflect that in one way or another.
Frank Ocean - Sweet Life
- Cutting on the beat could be a feature we use if we choose this one, to make the shots feel and flow much better.
- We could have slow motion shots during the verse that then revert back to normal speed in the chorus to show contrast between verse and chorus.
- The narrative could be of a young man who finally finds freedom and we could have him running through the streets representing a visual motif of freedom. This is also how we could use the transition from slow mo back to original speed.
