Overview
Following viewing footage we captured yesterday for the classroom scene, we are unhappy with it. We believe the location weakens the strength of our other vintage, authentic locations, and the continuity from scene one to the second is also weak. Therefore, more in tune with our concept, which taps into 'Alice in Wonderland style', especially due to the drug-taking connotations, we have decided to re-think the second scene.
The second scene
As the girl leaves the public toilet, she will run down some steps into the woods. Suddenly, she falls down a hole. Action match can be used in the next scene to show her falling down the hole into the swimming pool.
Shot list for falling down hole scene
1) Door shot at Stefan's house shows Martha come out and turn to the right.
2) Front shot steadycam shows Martha run towards camera.
3) Back shot long shot of scenery shows Martha out of focus runs down steps.
4) Front shot of steps shows her run down steps
5) Behind steadycam shot shows hole, girl comes onscreen from left into centre. Runs towards hole as camera tracks with her. Falls down hole in centre screen. Camera moves down in alignment with her movement.
First swimming pool shot
6) Behind shot with girl centre frame shows her pencil jump into swimming pool.
