TW: Update on role in editing, 16th November - 20th November

Titles
We made immense progress with titles this week. Taking inspiration from Kendrick Lamar's 'These Walls', we have used the titles to add to the narrative nature of our music video.

I also believe the style is very cinematic and complements our colour grading and use of letterboxing.

Titles were implemented using the 'T', and centralised using the tool below:

Sound effects
-We downloaded a fire crackling sound from freesound.org and inserted it with the titles at the start of our video, to compliment the tagline - 'A tragic enlightment' and hint to the audience what connotations I aimed for in constructing the tagline.
Edited swimming pool scene
-We have edited the swimming pool scene, using the trimming tool in particular to ensure continuity in shots such as walking with the girl towards the table.

-We are very happy with how it looks, it will look even better after it has been coloured graded.

-This leaves us with only one scene to film - the one prior to the swimming pool.
White flash
-Once again, the slow nature of fire meant we have used a white flash to result in the enlightenment of fire looking very professional, and also having connotations of her explosive nature.

Post-filmic effects
-Ben implemented letterboxing and desaturated colour grading for our rough cut:
